The Annual Holiday Brunch was a brilliant success: Joe, Keith and I hoisted a few, then went back to shoveling.
This is ridiculous! We can only scare up THREE people for drinks yesterday? Lucky these days to get 18 people on the field Sunday but sheesh, can't even get anyone to a bar?

Perhaps we can try again next Sunday if the field isn't usable?
I was stuck shoveling for the greater good (so my wife and kids would be out for the rest of the day.) Let's hope we can play on Sunday, then head straight over for beer and burgers. I've earned them. Shoveling snow isn't the same as running around like an (overweight) headless chicken and kicking the ball hard, high and over from six inches.
